Haddington Youth Hockey: Summer Newsletter

Welcome to Meg Hutchison who has joined our hockey family of coaches and many thanks to Fern who has had to leave us due to work commitments.

Our AGM is on Tuesday 13th June 8.30pm at Park House, Neilson Park Road. All are welcome but please could you let us know if you are attending (so I have enough chairs!)

Astro/trainer exchange: we are starting an exchange of second hand trainers or astro-shoes that still have plenty of life in them (and have been through the washing machine) via Team App chat. Post a picture and size and hopefully a new home will be found.

Summer camp: 7th-11th August 9.15am-12.30pm P1-P7.

P1’s: after a small trial, we have decided to ask P1’s to join the club after the Easter holidays each year. Please email the club for more information or to place a child on the waiting list for next year.

HJHC End of Season Presentation

We will be holding a small end of season presentation on Wednesday 28th June instead of training. This will be held upstairs in the rugby club with some light snacks provided. The U8 and U10 will run 3.45pm-4.30pm and U12 and U14 4.30pm-5.15pm. Parents are welcome to attend. See you there! Hope to see you there!

Welcome!

Welcome to the new Haddington Hockey website. We wish to keep you up-to-date with all things hockey-related here in Haddington and extend our communications reach to players and supporters of all ages and abilities. All are welcome!

Haddington Hockey

Hockey in Haddington expanded in 2017, providing Hockey for All! Haddington Ladies’ Team is now joined by a Men’s Team and Haddington Hockey Youth Section now welcomes children of all ages.

This new website will be the home of all Hockey in Haddington. To receive all the latest news posted here, please subscribe to the mailing list (top right, where it says ‘Keep Up To Date’) – please note that all HJHC/Youth Section members/parents are already subscribed to this.

This website will aim to keep you up-to-date, with information provided for each section on the web pages above, in conjunction with the match result and social news provided on the ‘Haddington Hockey’ Facebook page. The Youth Section also uses the HJHC TeamApp and youth players/parents are contacted directly via email when a match is coming up.
